Resilux people: 
in their own words

I’ve been working for Resilux since September 2009, but even before that I spent a few months working here for a summer job. I am responsible for production planning at our Tuzsér (Hungary) and Dascalu (Romania) sites. Since I started we’ve gone from 6 production lines to 17 now – so I’m growing along with the company!

I enjoy working at Resilux because it has a friendly, family-like structure which enables me to freely discuss and propose changes that need to be made. Then seeing those ideas being realized is very satisfying. It’s a solutions-driven culture and answers are generally just a phone call away.

I have been working at Resilux Serbia as a Maintenance Technician since February 2020. 

It’s truly a privilege to be part of an experienced team led by head of maintenance Vladimir. His many years of experience and the desire to share knowledge with new employees has given me a lot of confidence in my work.

I like the positive atmosphere and the relationship between employees, along with opportunities for continuous learning. They make me want to stay here in the coming years as a member of this large family.

I am Abdel Al Qaisi and I  started to work at Resilux Romania as a packer in May 2020. After five months, I had the opportunity to move up to being a Process Operator. I didn’t expect to be so attracted to this job, but to my surprise I liked it and decided to stay. 

Why did I stay? For me, the atmosphere of the place where I work is very important, as much as the teamwork. At Resilux, I feel the respect of my colleagues and enjoy the nice working environment. 

I feel that Resilux is a company which will give me the opportunity to continue to learn and evolve and this is what  makes me appreciate this company.

I’ve been working at Resilux Belgium in Wetteren since December 2006, starting as a packer before getting the chance to become a QC-Inspector.

My job involves daily quality control of the preforms on every production line as well as controlling production start-up which includes checking different quality indicators such as the wall thickness, weight and colour of every preform. I report on any operational problems and make decisions about corrective or preventive actions to avoid sub-standard final products.

I like doing my job and think I have a talent for it. Quality control is something I always wanted to do because I’ve always had a good eye for detail. My two sons also have the opportunity to start working here – that’s a real family company!

I have been working at Resilux Distribution Russia (Moscow) since August 2017. 

On the operational side, I’m involved in recruiting and hiring people, maintaining personnel records, working with personnel databases and controlling staffing and salary budgets. I also organize employee training, calculate bonuses and create incentive systems. In addition, I make adaptation programs, oversee interns, on-board new employees and supervise employee interaction.

On the people side, I’m involved with safety in the workplace issues, work culture and employee engagement. I must analyse staff turnover and productivity creating reports and implementing new initiatives. 

I like working in this industrial environment and I especially like the international exposure Resilux gives me through interactions with my HR colleagues in other countries.

From day one, I loved that everyone was welcoming. My trainer took care to explain every detail on process and procedures. If you are considering Resilux, come prepared with a positive attitude and ready to work as a team. Don’t be afraid to go beyond expectations, this is how I earned my Lead Packer/Supervisor position. 

Always be willing to give a hand where it’s needed. You can expect a great production facility as well as a clean work environment. Overall, I enjoy my job and am constantly learning from new challenges.

As part of the Production and Warehouse Department my job is to organize the warehouse, packing and raw material operators’ tasks. 

Originally I was a machine operator but after just six months, I had the chance to take on more responsibility as a production assistant. I am currently also doing a master’s degree in Lean Manufacturing and am carrying out the implementation of ‘Lean’ projects in parts of the Resilux organization. 

I like working at Resilux because there is a very good working environment. The people who work here make daily work enjoyable and rewarding. In addition, it’s a company that’s committed to people and their professional development. It relishes challenges and changes in order to be better every day. Above all, Resilux gives me the opportunity to grow professionally.

I am responsible for the planning and organization of the warehouse.

As my background is from a different sector to recycling my start was very intense and especially interesting! I got to learn about the recycling sector more and more, day by day.

Resilux is an international and future-oriented company. As an employee you get involved in important processes and have the chance for continuous growth.

Soon I’ll be celebrating six years of working at Resilux. Originally I started as a support sales rep when Resilux decided to extend its presence here in Ukraine.

Today, my job involves interacting with customers regarding their needs and advising on solutions for them. I also help coordinate the actual distribution of products to customers and – if necessary – resolve any product service issues.

We have great team, interesting challenges and excellent conditions for development – both professional and personal.

I started working for Resilux 11 years ago as Financial Controller.

Today my responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of our financial figures and overseeing the Finance Department workload. In particular, I must monitor raw material margins and sales prices on a daily basis and prepare monthly/quarterly reporting to both our local and Group organization. Overall I contribute towards the Group’s goal of financial sustainability and growth.
