Industrial Software Engineer


Resilux is an ever-growing, international company with over 1050 enthusiastic employees worldwide. In a dynamic environment, we produce PET preforms that are blown into PET bottles and filled by our customers. They are used as packaging solutions for a wide variety of products, such as beverages and food, but also detergents and cosmetics, for example. What are your responsibilities as an Industrial Software Engineer? 

  • You join a small team of solution developers within the Resilux group.
  • You have the skill to analyze a problem and convert it into a working application for our users.
  • You will act as a reference team member when it comes to critical industry system practices and requirements, including (cyber)secure operational as well as industry-grade hardware requirements.
  • You actively follow industry (de facto or actual) standardization trends.
  • You are ready to support, from a system author perspective, the roll-out and operations of platform installations in the field.
  • You create the necessary technical documentation and assist the key user with creating the user manual. 
  • You offer third line support in cooperation with the internal support team and the key users.
  • You feel at home in a production environment.
  • You are not afraid to step out of your comfort zone to assist your colleagues.
  • You are able to occasionally travel abroad for physical interventions.
  • You report to the Group Automation Officer.

Our ideal candidate:

  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio .net environment and Microsoft SQL Server is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of kepware, PHP,, Javascript, Python is a plus.
  • You have a master degree in (Sofware) Engineering or equivalent by education or experience. 
  • Fluent knowledge of Dutch and English.

I like the international exposure Resilux gives me through interactions with colleagues in other countries.

I have been working at Resilux Distribution Russia (Moscow) since August 2017. 

On the operational side, I’m involved in recruiting and hiring people, maintaining personnel records, working with personnel databases and controlling staffing and salary budgets. I also organize employee training, calculate bonuses and create incentive systems. In addition, I make adaptation programs, oversee interns, on-board new employees and supervise employee interaction.

On the people side, I’m involved with safety in the workplace issues, work culture and employee engagement. I must analyse staff turnover and productivity creating reports and implementing new initiatives. 

I like working in this industrial environment and I especially like the international exposure Resilux gives me through interactions with my HR colleagues in other countries.
