About our company

RESILUX NV specialises in the manufacture and sales of PET preforms and bottles. These preforms and bottles are used for the packaging of water, soft drinks, edible oils, ketchup, detergents, milk, beer, wine, fruit juices and other liquids. Resilux originally was a family business, and was established in 1994. Since 3rd October 1997, RESILUX has been quoted on Euronext Brussels. RESILUX has production units in Belgium, Spain, Greece, Russia, Switzerland, Hungary and in the U.S.A. We also have an extensive sales network in various countries.

Job description

In this position together with your team you will be responsible for the daily management of our IT network. Your main tasks will be the following:

• You are responsible for the servers and the address scheme (TCP/IP) and for installing, configuring and standardising the workstations.
  
• You set up the security rules and directory systems and are responsible for reliable back-up arrangements.
  
• You are responsible for the installation and maintenance of (new) hardware and (new) software.
  
• You solve complex IT problems, questions and complaints that have to be dealt with by the Internal ICT group.
  
• You give advice, analyse and work out implementation and migration procedures.
  
• You monitor the agreed performance requirements of the systems; you are responsible for corrective and adaptive maintenance on the systems.
  
• You are responsible for the optimum operation of the service and continuously encourage the making of improvements where necessary.
  
• You are prepared to travel to the head office in Belgium occasionally.
  
• You report to the ICT Manager.

Qualities

• You have a Bachelor degree in information technology or similar with relevant experience.
  
• You have a thorough knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2003-2008 Domains & Services (AD, DNS, DFS, DHCP, Radius, etc.).
  
• You also have a knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server 2007-2010, Network Routing, VPN, QOS, Virtualization (VMWare VSphere 4.0), SAN, WLAN, Application Publishing (Citrix XenApp).
  
• You have an excellent knowledge of the English language.
  
• You are very communicative, creative and proactive.
